Dear valued patients,

At Martin-Taylor Dentistry our #1 priority is your health and safety. Currently, we are available to treat your emergency dental needs. One of the important reasons we are doing so is to reduce the burden that dental emergencies would place on hospital emergency departments, if we were not available. We want to assure you that our office at Martin-Taylor Dentistry is a safe, clean environment to get the necessary treatment. We not only meet all requirements, but we exceed them, for your safety and ours. Delaying treatment of infection or pain can lead to more serious issues that may become more complicated to treat and can compromise your overall health, not just the health of your mouth.

At our office, we are thoroughly screening all calls and patients to maintain a safe environment. Patients are easily able to maintain social distancing. All rooms are wiped down before and after treating patients and the Dentist and the Martin-Taylor Dentistry Team always wear proper gear for their protection and yours.

We take extraordinary measures to ensure the safety and well-being of all our patients. We adhere to strict medical hygiene policy, including thoroughly disinfecting all common areas and surfaces (bathrooms, lobby and chairs, counters, door handles, etc…).

Our office is clean, safe, and ready to treat any dental emergencies you have during these times and after. Do not hesitate to call us with questions or concerns: (520) 747-9024

Sincerely,
Jeff Martin DDS
William Taylor DDS

So What’s the Deal with Six Month Smiles?

While many teens lament over having to wear braces, many adults really wish they had braces put on as a teen. So many adults with crooked front teeth are tired of covering their mouth when they smile or laugh and have found their overlapping teeth tough to keep clean. But lucky for them, there is a new cosmetic braces solution for adults to straighten their teeth in a very short time span!  Six Month Smiles® is a clear braces system designed to straighten teeth in about 6 months. Six Month Smiles® are effective, safe and affordable.

What are Six Month Smiles Braces?

Six Month Smiles® is a cosmetic braces solution for adults with crooked front teeth. It is a variation on the tried and true metal braces system worn by teens, but because they are made from newly developed Lucid-Lok® clear brackets and tooth-colored wires, they are barely visible. The system is made by Six Month Smiles®, LLC and only dentists who have participated in their training are qualified to participate. Dr. Taylor and Dr. Martin have both completed this training so Martin Taylor patients can receive their Six Month Smiles® from either dentist.

How Do Six Month Smiles® Braces Differ from Conventional Braces?

Although Six Month Smiles follows the same general design of conventional braces, there are some significant differences. As stated, the materials used are almost invisible as opposed to the silver metal brackets and wires used for conventional braces. The other major difference is the length of time for the treatment. Six Month Smiles emphasis is on the cosmetic appearance of the teeth that show when you smile rather than the position of your bite. Because the Six Month Smiles system is not repositioning your bite in anyway, the cosmetic results can be obtained much faster than conventional metal braces.

The Six Month Smiles Advantage

The aspect of Six Month Smiles that makes them more effective than the clear aligners is that they are working 24/7!  Six Month Smiles® are always in place and doing their job. Unlike clear aligners, they do not need to be removed in order to brush your teeth or eat.

How Do I Know if Six Month Smiles is Right For Me?

The best way to know if Six Month Smiles®  is right for you is to make an appointment with Dr. Martin or Dr. Taylor for a consultation. They can answer all your questions and help you decide if this program is your best option for a beautiful smile.

Dr. Taylor, Dr. Martin, and their entire staff are the very best. The front desk staff, the dental assistants, and dental hygienists are excellent. I’ve been to many dentists over the years, and they are the most skilled and professional group of people that I have encountered. You can be confident you will be fully informed about what is recommended for a treatment plan and what it will cost. I’ve had the gamut of dental procedures — crowns, implants, root canals, and more routine care. It’s been made as pleasant and comfortable as possible by their skill, as well as their kindness and understanding. I wholeheartedly recommend Martin and Taylor Dentistry.

I have been a patient of Dr. Taylor’s for most of my adult hood. I have had everything done from a filling to multiple dental implants. All of my procedures have been straightforward with zero complications and as little discomfort as possible. Even after my implants I had minimal pain! Before I saw Dr. Taylor I was terrified of dentists, but he put me at ease with his expertise. The hygienists are kind, thorough but gentle, and knowledgeable. The office staff is very friendly and helpful. The office itself is modern and impeccably clean. I highly recommend Martin Tayler dentistry and won’t trust my teeth to any other dentists.
